We explore biological changes that take place when specific thoughts, emotions and behaviours are communicating across neurons within our brains. Analysis involves recording digital EEG signals, measuring brain activity by detecting changes associated with blood flow (Functional magnetic resonance imaging or functional MRI), measuring metabolite levels, and the analysis of gene expression seen in response to specific stimuli.
